31/365~It seems as if this book is never very far from my side these days. After being diagnosed as Insulin Resistant in July 2008... Eating for me has taken on a whole new life.

30/365~ Eager Anticipation... I took Tess to the field at the school this afternoon to play one of her favorite toys. The Chuck-It. She will run and fetch until she is exhausted. Unfortunately, her state of exhaustion only lasts for about 5 minutes. BTW-all the doggie prints in the sand...They are all hers!

29/365~ I forgot to post this yesterday so here it is. It is a picture of a building I walk past heading to my weekly meetings.

27/365~ Today was a lunch-on-the-run day. A hotdog and diet coke from Costco. The Coca-Cola logo was begging to be the pic of the day!

26/365~ Can you see the forest through the trees? So often out vision is obscured by objects in our way. Things are not always as bad as they may seem when you first look at them. It sometimes takes a closer look through the primary point of view. Angle changes and looking at a smaller part of the larger picture are many times helpful. First look at these trees, others may not notice that there is in fact a forest behind them...

25/365~ We were dusted with a light covering of snow once again during the night. On my morning walk I had to laugh at these crow tracks... There wasn't much snow but this guy just had to do his balancing act walking down the parking curb!

24/365~ This bumper sticker grabbed my heart today when I saw it. Especially after some of our new president's doings of this week... It says it all.

23/365~ Today has been a quiet, down time, day for me. While uploading a few other pictures that just didn't inspire me... I looked down at my keyboard and wondered what kind of subject it would be. After all, it maybe my biggest tool these days in expressing myself.

Frayed Nerves

22/365~ No your eyes are not going bad! I made myself a cuppa peppermint tea this morning to try to calm my nerves. A neighbor decided that from 4:15-7am was a good enough time to start throwing things around in her apartment and screaming at the top of her lungs. The phone was in my hand to dial 911 when she hurried her very young daughters out to their car and then zipped away... Well as you can see, even the hand stablizer didnt work too well this morning. This was even after 2 dozen other tries! So this is my pic of the day.

21/365~ Okay, you win!
Tess has been pestering me all day. So I had to make her my pic of the day. It is definitely not the best pic of her but it shows the intensity she plays tug-o-war... I have to laugh everytime I look at it.

20/365~ Haha! What can I say? I was cleaning up some sewing stuff and my eye caught my pin cushion full of colorful pins! I only have a point and shoot digital but I finally got a pic. Almost looks like a gumball jungle!

Better Late Than Never!

So, I decided to join the group on Facebook "2009~365 Project". I have been watching a friend faithfully post her favorite picture of the day, every day, from the start of the year. I am only 17 days behind her and the rest of the people doing this. Something about the whole idea of a year in the pic/day journal seemed like a fun thing to do. So I am going to try...

17/365~ The stairway leading down from my apartment bathed in the late afternoon sun of a mid-winter day. I lose track how many times I go up and down those things in a day!
